Sedicii seeks an experienced Marketing Manager to drive the company’s ambitious business objectives, which depend on digital marketing and specialist physical and online events. This is a new, full-time position and the successful candidate will report directly to the Director – Strategy and Innovation.

The role can be undertaken on a hybrid or fully remote basis, though attendance at occasional meetings in person, in Waterford, Dublin or abroad will be required.

Sedicii is at the cutting edge of developing and promoting technology-led identity verification, authentication and trust services. The business works with governments, financial services providers, utility suppliers, multi-nationals and SME’s to encourage the successful integration and adoption of advanced cryptographic Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) that enable organisations to collaborate in current and new processes without sharing sensitive data. These include Sedicii’s Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP), Secure Multi-Party Computation (SMPC) and Message Less Computation (MLC) technologies.

The Marketing Manager will be central to the growth of the company and will be a key player in delivering on the business objectives. A core goal in this context will be to build collaborative communities within the target markets and identify participants willing to actively engage in projects that involve the application of these proven technologies.

The immediate task is the marketing for EU project PHACKS (Platform for High Assurance Collaborative Knowledge Sharing), which is to create five collaborative communities of organisations that will each pilot customised PHACKS capabilities, ready for wider EU adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Finalise a comprehensive Marketing Strategy that aligns with the organisation’s goals to enable the building of collaborative communities.
  • The implementation of the Strategy through a Tactical Marketing Plan
  • Develop core content to support all marketing activities.
  • The management and maintenance of the website, as a central element of the digital parts of the Marketing Strategy.
  • Hands-on implementation of digital activities including Social Media Marketing (mainly LinkedIn), Google Ads, Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation and other related tools.
  • Reporting on campaign metrics against goals (ROI and KPI’s), pro-actively making recommendations to drive performance and optimise the marketing spend.
  • Event management in different locations and engagement with different stakeholder groups
  • Liaison with third party suppliers e.g. web developers, marketing agencies, videographers etc for digital and facilities managers for physical events.
  • Introduce new digital marketing approaches over time, in line with emerging trends and technologies.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person, including perfect English.
  • Extensive experience in planning and implementing Digital Marketing programmes.
  • An in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, both paid and organic activity, with specialist knowledge of LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
  • Experience in marketing IT services.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of authentication services, privacy and cybersecurity considerations
  • Direct experience in building online communities, mainly via LinkedIn.

Qualifications

  • At a minimum, a Primary Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or other relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
