Marketing Executive

About the job

Are you a marketer with graphic design skills? Few roles today offer the unique blend of traditional and digital marketing challenges for an esteemed Irish brand leader. If you’re seeking a position that will foster your marketing talents and provide ample opportunities for growth and development, this could be the perfect job for you.

About the company

Uppercross Enterprises Limited (UEL) is a family-run business that has been supplying high-quality plumbing fittings and heating products through the Irish Builders’ Merchant, Wholesale Plumbing, and Bathroom Showroom channels since 1983. They sell industry-leading brands across Ireland. Their target markets are a fascinating mix of B2B and B2C. Under the brand NIKO Bathrooms, they have a beautiful showroom in Tallaght, Dublin, featuring some of the best bathroom products and designs on the market.

About the role

UEL is looking for a marketer driven by results and high standards. Reporting to the sales directors for UEL and NIKO, you’ll implement their strategies through first-class work—offline and online. You’ll get exposure to the entire marketing function, which will allow you to showcase your abilities.

Their traditional marketing will include producing brochures and print advertising. Most of the design is carried out in-house, so you’ll use your expertise with Photoshop and Indesign to create stunning material. You will get exposure to PR as UEL launch their new start-of-the-art showroom, and you’ll get to use your event management skills – organising trade shows. You’ll look after web, social, and content marketing from a digital perspective. This is a very multifaceted, hands-on role, from writing LinkedIn posts to coordinating a multi-channel campaign. You’ll significantly enhance your wide range of marketing skills, including growing product brand awareness.

What you’ll get in return

This position is based in an industrial environment, so the trappings of the tech sector are not on offer. Instead, you’ll get one of the most expansive marketing roles available—targeting B2C and B2B with offline and online material designed and written by yourself for an Irish brand leader.

You’ll work in a warm, informal, and supportive environment under the guidance and direction of senior management. They will trust you to deliver the marketing their company deserves. They’ll also support any future training or courses you require.

If you have the energy, ideas, and experience to elevate this company and get the utmost professional fulfilment in return, click apply.
