Marketing Consultant

This is a rolling contract position suitable for an experience Marketing person who enjoys a fast paced and diverse marketing role. The position will work with a key client of an Enterprise Tech Solutions company. Based in North Dublin but with strong hybrid working style.

Duties will include;

  • Be responsible for the marketing of the companies largest vendor. Planning and execution of marketing funds to plan and spend on a quarterly basis. Marketing proposals and plans will be required to be produced and the execution of agreed marketing campaigns will have to be undertaken by the Marketing Consultant.
  • Administer the budget of these vendors, tracking the budget and ensure zero exposure to the business.
  • Events and seminars: Organising and co-ordinating regular events for the core vendor portfolio. Responsibilities will include sourcing venues, producing communications, management of the overall event registrations, etc.
  • Drive specific project or region based campaigns her areas of the vendors portfolio, solutions and service offering.
  • Lead management: Manage the process for allocation and management of leads passed through our resellers (online Sales Lead Portal) and provide assistance to the marketing manager in following up leads with resellers and putting together ROI reports to supply to our vendor in support of funding.
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing: Manage and co-ordinate your own social media marketing and digital marketing campaigns to maximise the reach of campaigns.
  • Relationships: Developing and building business relationships internally also with resellers and vendor(s).

The successful Candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of Marketing experience gained through working as either a marketing assistant or executive.
  • Considerable administrative experience gained through working within a commercial office environment (3-4 years).
  • Marketing qualification would be favourable but not required.
  • Creative approach – able to generate new ideas
  • Good understanding of Microsoft software: Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Understanding/experience of the Information Technology industry – distinct advantage
