Art Director – Droga5 – Dublin, Ireland
Job Summary
Droga5, the Dublin arm of Accenture Song, is looking for an Art Director who can turn a brief into a stream of sharp, culturally-tuned ideas — and do it fast. In other words, this isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit on one big concept for weeks. Instead, it’s built for a visual thinker who thrives on volume, iteration and self-editing. This person should feel just as comfortable pitching a scrappy social idea as shaping a full brand campaign. Additionally, the role sits across Droga5 Dublin, Song Ireland and the wider D5 Global network. As a result, exposure to international briefs comes with the territory.
About Droga5 / the Team
Droga5 is one of the most decorated creative agencies on the planet. The agency was founded in 2006 and has since been named Agency of the Decade by both Ad Age and Adweek. In fact, it has been crowned Agency of the Year more than 25 times. Today, as part of Accenture Song, Droga5 operates across Dublin, New York, London, Tokyo, São Paulo and Australia/New Zealand. Together, these offices blend integrated communications, experience innovation and business design under one creative roof.
The Dublin creative department describes itself as generous rather than territorial. Team members lean on each other, learn from each other, and measure success by the quality of the last piece of work out the door — not by ego. For an Art Director, this translates into a genuinely collaborative floor. Here, copywriters, fellow art directors and designers work shoulder to shoulder on ideas rather than in silos.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does this Art Director role require working solo or as part of a creative team? Both — the listing explicitly states the role can be filled “as part of a creative team or solo,” so Droga5 is open to candidates who work well independently and those who prefer a paired art director/copywriter setup.
Is this position limited to Droga5 Dublin, or does it involve work across the wider network? The role is based in Dublin but is described as an “accountable partner and collaborator” across D5 Dublin, Song Ireland, D5 Global and Song global — so exposure to international briefs and cross-market collaboration should be expected.
What software or tools should I be confident using before applying? Preferred (not mandatory) skills include Google Suite, GenAI tools, and the core Adobe Creative Suite apps — Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. The only strict requirement listed is a strong portfolio.
