Marketing, Business Development & Administration Coordinator – Collen
Job summary
Collen is hiring a Marketing, Business Development & Administration Coordinator to support its growth teams. In short, this is a hybrid of bid support, marketing and office coordination. Above all, the role centres on prequalification submissions, which help a contractor qualify to tender for new projects. In addition, you will keep records accurate, organise meetings and events, and support senior stakeholders. Therefore, it suits an organised communicator who enjoys detail as much as variety.
About Collen and the team
Collen is a long-established construction and engineering company, and it also operates outside Ireland, including in Sweden. Because the business competes for major projects, strong prequalification work has a direct impact on which contracts the company can bid for. As a result, this role sits at the point where marketing, data and new business meet.
In practice, you will work closely with directors, managers and several internal teams. For example, you will gather staff CVs, qualifications and performance data for submissions. Meanwhile, you will also prepare presentations and marketing materials, and you will help run company events, some of them international.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What are prequalification submissions in this role?
They are documents a contractor submits to show its capability before it can tender for a project. In this role, you will compile staff CVs, qualifications and performance data for them. Consequently, accuracy and good record-keeping are central to the job.
Do I need a marketing degree to apply?
No. Collen lists a qualification in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration as desirable, not essential. However, you do need previous experience in a marketing, business development or administrative support role.
Will this role involve travel?
Possibly. The advert mentions support for international event management, and Collen operates outside Ireland. Still, it does not say how much travel is involved
