We are now looking for a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our team and help enhance our online presence while contributing to the daily operations of the nursing home.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to support our marketing requirements by creating engaging digital content, managing our WordPress website, and assisting with reception duties during evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital marketing. Key Responsibilities

Digital Content Creation:

• Develop engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Website, etc.).
• Create graphic designs, videos, and blog posts to showcase the activities, staff, and events at Talbot Lodge.
• Assist in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns.

Website Management:

• Regularly update and maintain the Brookhaven Healthcare WordPress website, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Create, edit, and upload website content including articles, photos, and event details.
• Monitor website traffic and performance using analytics tools to optimize content strategy.

Reception and Administrative Support:

• Cover reception duties during evenings and weekends, providing a welcoming environment for visitors and residents.
• Answer phone calls and direct visitors to the appropriate departments.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the management team and other team members to ensure digital content aligns with the overall marketing strategy and goals.
• Assist with planning and executing special events, campaigns, or promotions to increase brand awareness.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with WordPress for website management.
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar (for content creation).
• Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and how to engage audiences.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices is an advantage.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisation: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer Service: Experience in customer-facing roles or the ability to handle reception duties with a professional and friendly approach.
• Availability: Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
