Purpose of the Role:
The Marketing Manager will lead the Group’s marketing initiatives, ensuring effective communication of its value to members, potential members, and stakeholders across the UK and Ireland. This role is essential in driving engagement, increasing membership, and enhancing the respective membership organisations brand presence through strategic marketing, digital campaigns, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to support the Groups objectives, enhancing membership sales, retention, and engagement. Specifically design up Membership Propositions and Sponsorship Proposals.
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts across various platforms, including the respective websites, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok) email shots and newsletters. Manage content creation, oversee website updates, and develop targeted digital campaigns.
- Event Promotion: Work with the events team to promote events, including seminars, webinars, conferences, and networking functions, through digital and offline channels. Track RSVPs and ensure effective communication with participants.
- Content and Brand Management: Ensure all content aligns with the respective organisation’s (FBN, BICC etc) brand guidelines and contributes to a cohesive brand image. Manage the production of marketing collateral, newsletters, and member communications.
- Member Engagement: Collaborate with the membership team to create and promote engagement programs for members, facilitating networking and development opportunities.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities using analytics and performance metrics, and adjust strategies to optimise results.
- Event Support: The Marketing Manager will be required to offer logistical support to the events team for a variety of events.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Higher education qualification or relevant experience.
· Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
· Detailed orientated.
· Proven ability in oral and written communication
· Skill Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and scheduling platforms).
· Familiarity with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
· Excellent IT skills generally including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· The ability to work flexibly and in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience with Word Press Website is desirable.
· Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems would be beneficial.
· Candidate must be able to work well with many internal and external stakeholders, including business executives and Government officials.
