Uppercross Enterprises Limited (UEL) is a family-run business supplying high-quality plumbing fittings and heating products through the Irish Builders’ Merchant, Wholesale Plumbing, and Bathroom Showroom channels since 1983. Under the NIKO Bathrooms brand, they have recently relocated to a state-of-the-art showroom in Tallaght Village, Dublin, showcasing some of the best bathroom products and designs on the market.

About the job

You’ll be working with an established, knowledgeable marketing team of two who are well-versed in the industry and UEL’s marketing strategies. Subsequently, you don’t need to come from either sector. It’s more important that you have a passion for strategic marketing and delivering campaigns from a B2B perspective.

This is a job with a lot of variety where two days are seldom the same. You will be sourcing content from a range of stakeholders, creating strategic messaging and planning content calendars. You’ll have the creativity and skills to come up with ideas for social media, write persuasive copy and work with video and photography to produce effective reels and stories. This will also give you exposure to industry influencers.

Beyond social, you’ll get to work on promotions and a wide range of trade events and customer-focused events in the NIKO Bathroom showroom. UEL also produce their own printed brochure as well other printed material, so you’ll help update and renew artwork using the Adobe suite. You’ll be involved with brainstorming, planning, delivery and analysis, so you’ll get exposure to end-to-end marketing.

As you are aware, the development of marketing tools and channels is evolving at a rapid rate, especially with AI. You’ll be knowledgeable of the latest advancements in social media, email, and website development and maintenance.
